The Eta Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated is offering scholarships to seniors from the New Haven County area who have demonstrated academic excellence, community service, and leadership.
Some of the indicators for academic excellence, community service, and leadership include, but are not to be limited to, the following:
- Attainment of a 2.5 or higher un-weighted GPA as of their junior year
- Verifiable history of volunteerism in community or religious-based organizations
- Verifiable history of participation in school-sponsored clubs/teams/organizations
SCHOLARSHIP ELEGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. The applicant must be a student who will enroll in an accredited college or university.
2. The applicant must be a graduating High School senior, residing in the New Haven County area, and enrolled in an accredited New Haven County area high school.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS
• Official or unofficial high school transcript (from junior year)
• Letter of recommendation
The Google form application must be completed in full no later than XXXX XX, 2021. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
