ABOUT ALPHA ESQUIRES PROGRAM

The purpose of Alpha Esquires is to provide students in New Haven County with extracurricular resources to close the gap in cultural achievement that currently exists.

Participants will engage in a structured 2-hour program that will increase development, improve social awareness and perpetuate positive interactions among peers within their community. Overall, participants will connect with members of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the local community, and current college students in an effort to promote a dynamic mentorship experience.

Furthermore participants will reflect on their knowledge of self, diversifying their perspective of adolescence in a climate-shifting nation.

Schedule/Activities:  
Alpha Esquires meets every second and fourth Saturday of the month through June 2025 at Amistad High School in New Haven unless noted otherwise.
